Dr. Shayne Keddy
Medical Director
Shayne Keddy, DO serves as the Medical Director for Washington County Ambulance District. Dr. Keddy received his Bachelor’s degree from Rochester Institute of Technology and graduated as a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Kirksville College.
Dr. Keddy is an active Emergency Department Physician at Mercy Jefferson College. Along with providing Medical Direction at WCAD, he is also the medical director the Mineral Area College EMS Education Program, the Fundamentals of Critical Care Transport Program, and is the medical director for several other ambulance services in the region.
Dr. Keddy is passionate about emergency medicine. In fact, prior to becoming a physician, Dr. Keddy began his career as an EMT in the state of New York. Dr. Keddy is an integral part of the WCAD team and empowers our clinicians to provide exemplary care. Along with the rest of the leadership team, Dr. Keddy promotes a progressive clinical program, high-quality education, and a robust continuous quality improvement program.
